A Chromebook is a laptop running the Linux-based Chrome OS as its operating system. Chrome OS introduced in this years Google's #IO16 among many other applications. Chromebook devices are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and data residing in "the cloud". A Chromebook is an example of a thin client.

The biggest advantage of Chromebooks is that they are easy to use, have virus protection built-in, and keeps going with a long-life battery. What more would you ask for? With a fast internet connection and a Chromebook, you have officially been pimped.

Awesome machine with an awesome Operating System, the list is endless. We also have Hisense, Haier, Dell and Samsung coming onboard with their series of Chromebook laptops. Chrome OS always gets me thinking of a new Linux OS that was launched just recently.
