Lenovo PHAB2 and PHAB2 Plus smartphones specifications

The PHAB2 and PHAB2 Plus according to the launch by Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang they are very interesting phones despite the fact that both are not ‘Project Tango’ smartphones like the PHAB2 Pro. We have already talked about these devices at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 updates so now lets talk about the PHAB2 and PHAB2 Plus specs.

 

 

PHAB2

The PHAB2 has the lowest of features between the other two Phablets but it still packs some of the features even PHAB2 Pro has. The PHAB2 phablet weighing 225 grams packs a 6.4-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). A MediaTek’s MT8735 quad-core processor, and ARM’s Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The 13MP back camera with PDAF Fast-Focus included and 5MP snapper front camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. It has a 4,050mAh battery just like the PHAB2 Plus and Pro. It is a hybrid Dual SIM device, which means you can either use two SIM cards (2 x micro SIM), or use a SIM card and an SD card. 4G LTE connectivity is also included, and supports a wide range of bands, support will depend on which variant of the phone you get (which region). Lenovo has included a triple array microphone with active noise-cancellation, while also features the Dolby Audio and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 like the other two Phablets. This device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating System.

PHAB2 Plus

The PHAB2 Plus made of metallic body (aluminum) and weighing 218 grams packs a 6.4-inch IPS display, but unlike the PHAB2, it has a full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display and a 2.5D curved glass in placed on top of it. 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). MediaTek’s MT8783 octa-core processor and ARM’s Mali-T720 MP3 GPU for great graphics processing. Packs two brilliant 13MP shooters back camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.34um pixel size, Laser Autofocus, PDAF and an 8MP shooter front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4um pixel size. The PHAB@ Plus also gets the 4,050mAh battery like in the PHAB2. Dual SIM card capabilities, though it includes a 1 micro SIM and 1 nano SIM. It is a hybrid Dual SIM device meaning you can use one of the two slots to insert an SD card, as it’s the case on the PHAB2. The PHAB2 Plus also comes with 4G LTE and supports the vast majority of bands, but band support will depend on where you purchase the device. This device features the same audio capabilities as the PHAB2 and PHAB2 Pro. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
