Truecaller's new update: Identify unknown senders on WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook Messenger and Skype

Technology is changing daily and Truecaller App is part of the change

Truecaller for Android v7.61 users can now identify unknown senders on messaging apps, according to the company’s blogpost. The feature is only available on Android, and can be turned on in the Auto Search Truecaller settings. Once switched on, it identifies unknown numbers from WhatsApp, Line, Viber, Skype, Facebook Messenger and Telegram. There are more updates too, lets know them and how to switch on and off Truecaller from identifying unknown numbers.

This is a great feature reducing the load of having to copy someones number to enter Truecaller then search but then again it can be crazy. If you can be offline for 2 hours and when switch on data and find you have...

and lets say you're in more than 40 WhatsApp groups and 10 Telegram groups...

You will just end up switching off that feature.

Truecaller v7.61 also comes with several new features, including the ability to make calls directly from the app; and identify numbers before calling them. It has a built-in dial pad to call people straight from the app.

Next up, is the Smart Call History feature in Truecaller v7.61, that will show call history in the app with names instead of the unknown number. Users can copy numbers from anywhere on their phone, email, websites or social media; and Truecaller automatically searches for the number without opening the app.
